20% Time Review

For both of us this year has been a huge success. We have raised $631.00! We both really want to keep going with our projects and keep raising money so we can reach our goal of 1000.00 for Melissa's hope. The next step in our project will be Lemonade for Haiti, it will take place in June and will be set up exactly like Hot Cocoa for Haiti. After that we plan to have a Volleyball camp at the Saint Michael's gym.
I think that this project went wonderfully for us. We worked really well together and kept moving with our project even when we would struggle with a project or checkpoint we never gave up and we had a huge success with our entire project! Things I think should happen with 20% next year is I think people’s projects should be more monitored so there will be less groups without projects. Other than that everyone did a wonderful project and had unique ideas and it was an amazing year.

Candy Jar Raffle

As our next project we would like to do a Candy Raffle. Where we would fill different jars with candy and our teammates could pay to guess how many candies are in the jar. Another game would be where people just pay to put their name in a jar and whoever's name we pull that would be the winner if that candy jar. We hope that this will get us a little closer to our goal of $1,000.

End of the Year

With the end of the year coming and having less than half way left to go to get to our goal, there is still many more stuff we would like to accomplish. Even though the year is ending this will not stop our project. We would like to still do a volleyball camp when we are old and do even more Hot CoCoa and Lemonade stands. The end of the year will not be putting an end to our project!

Check Point #2

We recently had another checkpoint to show what we have accomplished throughout the year. Here is our project.

Lemonade For Haiti

For our next project to raise money we will be doing Lemonade for Haiti. We plan to do this in the summer and have multiple ones throughout the season. We will do it just like we did the Hot cocoa for Haiti. We will have signs and lots of people to help advertise. We do not have an official date yet but we will hopefully have one soon!

Our Failures!

We feel like Money for Haiti has been a very successful! Because we have made over $550 and we aren't even done with our project! But we also have had some failures in our project. We had an idea of doing a volleyball camp for Haiti. Where all of the money we made from the camp will go straight to Haiti. We decided that would be a little much because of the fact that we are in 7th grade. This camp would take a lot of work. Including having to sort out all of the money, get a gym to have it in, actually get coaches to help teach and most of all just organizing the whole thing. We hope to continue with this project and even when we are older do the volleyball camp.

A Little Can Go a Long Way

On the 11th of April,  we had Twin Day! Where we raised 50 dollars! It may not seem like a lot but a little goes a long way. It’s also one step closer to our goal of $1,000. Also, 50 dollars is a lot for people in Haiti who have nothing. Now we are working on a 20 percent time check point where we will make a video showing everything we have accomplished and hope to do in the future. Here is our video we turned in to summarize all of our accomplishments we have made.
